University of Bergamo

Founded in 1968, the University of Bergamo fosters a plural, inclusive environment, focused on community values and open to a global dimension.

Located in Bergamo, in Northern Italy, the University is home to about 21,000 students (260 Ph.D). 7% are international students.

Three campuses – Humanities, Engineering and Economics and Law- host a multidisciplinary educational offer: 50 Bachelor’s and Master’s degree,  12 PhD programmes. 13 master programmes are taught entirely in English, attracting international students and hosting international faculty.

More than 800 academic and administrative staff in 8 Departments and 8 Research centers work to provide our students with theoretical and practical education, highly appreciated by the labour market. At the same time, they develop international cutting edge research, support innovation, sustainability  and interdisciplinarity, joining forces with companies and institutions to face the challenges of a rapidly changing world.
