Strategic discussions around Deliverable D4.1
The week featured dedicated working sessions on Deliverable D4.1: “Transformation pathway towards a green and inclusive BAUHAUS4EU campus.” Participants exchanged best practices, identified common challenges, and defined concrete action levers to support campus transformation in line with the values of the BAUHAUS4EU Alliance.
Inclusion and social engagement
The presentations and visits highlighted UPJV’s commitment to inclusion and social responsibility. These included a strategic overview of the university, a presentation on the inclusion of staff with disabilities, and a discovery of the university library services and the ATYPIE-Friendly programme. Participants also visited the “Women in Science” exhibition and learned about initiatives promoting student solidarity, notably through AGORAé, a student solidarity grocery store. The presentation of the “Nina and Simon.es’ House” further showcased dedicated support and welcoming facilities.
Together, these initiatives reflect a comprehensive approach to inclusive campuses, with a strong focus on accessibility, equal opportunities, and student well-being.
A unifying cultural immersion
The cultural programme complemented the academic discussions with a gala dinner at the Musée de Picardie and a guided tour of the Citadelle d'Amiens. These moments encouraged informal exchanges and strengthened ties between partners in a spirit of collaboration and conviviality.
Towards greener and more inclusive campuses
This Staff Week marks an important step in building a shared vision of the campus of tomorrow: sustainable, accessible, supportive, and open to the world. The work carried out at UPJV will feed into the next stages of Deliverable D4.1 and further strengthen the Alliance’s collective ambition.
