First Regional Council Meeting at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar

|   Events Calendar

On September 4, the BAUHAUS4EU (B4EU) University Alliance invites its partners from the Thuringia region (Germany) for the very first time. This inaugural meeting marks the begin of the Thuringian “B4EU Regional Council” activities. The aim is to strengthen ties between the Bauhaus Universität Weimar and regional stakeholders and to initiate joint projects.

When: 04.09.2025
Where: Weimar, neudeli start-up hub (Germany)
Type: Workshop, Networking

Regional partners from the worlds of politics, culture, environmental protection, education and training, and business are invited to discuss on how to raise the profile of regional innovation potential and how to get students excited about these topics. The results for innovative and practical teaching formats, regional laboratories, and research collaborations will be an important first step towards a closer collaboration of academia and regional stakeholders.

What are Regional Councils?

Each of the ten BAUHAUS4EU regions has a Regional Council consisting of stakeholders from politics, business, society, and culture. A total of 67 associated partners enrich the BAUHAUS4EU University Alliance with their insights into the needs and potential of their respective fields. The Regional Councils advise the universities and support strategy development within the Alliance, particularly with regard to measures whose impact extends beyond the university environment. They also contribute to ongoing, innovative course development by setting specific tasks.
