Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH) recently welcomed Prince Daniel’s Fellowship to Karlskrona for a discussion on entrepreneurship, innovation and the challenges of turning ideas into successful ventures.
The event brought together students, entrepreneurs and members of the local community, offering participants the opportunity to hear first-hand experiences from entrepreneurs Charlotta Zetterström, from the bakery chain Fabrique and Joel Hellermark, founder of the AI company Sana.
During the panel discussion, the speakers shared their entrepreneurial journeys, including the challenges they encountered along the way and discussed the importance of pursuing ideas, finding your passion and building the right team.
For BTH, the event also highlighted the importance of fostering entrepreneurship and innovation among students, as well as strengthening collaboration between higher education and the business community.
As part of the visit, BTH Rector also took the opportunity to introduce Prince Daniel to the work of the BAUHAUS4EU Alliance in the Teleporter Room, highlighting the Alliance’s activities and its role in fostering collaboration and innovation across its partner institutions.
The initiative provided students with both inspiration and practical insights into entrepreneurship, while highlighting the potential of collaboration between academia, entrepreneurs and the wider community to support innovation and bring new ideas to life.
