A highlight of the week was the visit of Prof. Peter Benz, President of Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and lead institution of the BAUHAUS4EU Alliance. During his stay, he met with Denis Postel, President of UPJV, as well as Gilles Dequen, Vice-President of the Research Commission, Nathalie Lemée, Vice-President Delegate for Research, Sciences and Valorization, and Christophe Bident, Vice-President for International Relations and Student Mobility, alongside Alliance representatives Tonia Schmitz, Secretary General of the BAUHAUS4EU Alliance, and Andreas Zeinert, Delegate for the BAUHAUS4EU Alliance at UPJV. These meetings provided an opportunity to discuss the Alliance’s strategic perspectives, research and cooperation priorities, and future partnerships in education.

Peter Benz also met with faculty directors and international relations coordinators, and visited key University facilities such as the Amiens Citadel campus and the Energy Hub, an innovative facility supporting research and experimentation in the field of energy transition.

During his visit, Peter Benz also took part in an interview, in which he highlighted the purpose of his stay at UPJV, emphasizing the value of face-to-face meetings, collaborative work, and strengthening connections between partner universities. He also offered a clear overview of the BAUHAUS4EU project, explaining its mission and core objectives.
