Throughout the day, representatives of the Alliance welcomed visitors at the BAUHAUS4EU stand, located in the heart of the Festival Fair. The stand provided an opportunity to showcase the Alliance’s activities, engage with stakeholders and exchange ideas with members of the wider New European Bauhaus community.

Among the BAUHAUS4EU representatives present were the Alliance's Secretary General, alongside colleagues from Université de Picardie Jules Verne, Université Lumière Lyon 2 and University of Bergamo, who had the opportunity to meet partners, students and policymakers. The event also offered inspiring moments, including the opportunity to attend speeches by leading European figures and engage in discussions on the future of higher education, sustainability, and regional development.

A key highlight of BAUHAUS4EU's participation was the organisation of the Regional Living Labs (RLLs) Workshop. This interactive session brought together students, citizens, regional stakeholders, and academics to explore how collaborative innovation can contribute to more sustainable and resilient territories.

Through participatory activities and shared methodologies, participants reflected on the challenges and opportunities facing their own regions and discussed how Regional Living Labs can foster local engagement, co-creation, and meaningful societal impact. The workshop also benefited from practical insights shared by Constanze Roth, representing Vogtlandpioniere, one of BAUHAUS4EU’s regional partners actively involved in Living Lab initiatives.

The session was co-created with colleagues from Université Lumière Lyon 2 and welcomed contributions from regional stakeholders, illustrating the strong commitment of BAUHAUS4EU to connecting higher education institutions with their surrounding ecosystems.

Another memorable moment was the participation of students from UPJV, under the guidance of Professor Justin Wadlow, who transformed discussions and ideas emerging from the workshop into artistic creations. Their work highlighted the role of creativity and artistic expression in facilitating dialogue, collaboration, and collective problem-solving.

BAUHAUS4EU's presence at the New European Bauhaus Festival reflects the Alliance's commitment to fostering sustainable, inclusive, and beautiful futures through education, innovation, and regional engagement. The conversations, ideas, and connections developed during the event will continue to inspire future projects and collaborations across our European university community.
