The afternoon’s agenda included:
- A presentation of the BAUHAUS4EU calls currently open;
- A brainstorming session on building bridges between academia and civil society;
- Discussions on future micro-credentials for regional agents;
- Next steps for the University’s Regional Council.
Beyond the topics discussed, the workshop highlighted a strong inclination for a sustained dialogue between universities and their regional ecosystem. Regional partners who attended the event have been actively involved in the project since its beginning. The challenges they face are similar, which facilitates the implementation of relevant and impactful BAUHAUS4EU challenge-based learning formats, aligned with their priorities.
Furthermore, faculty members who participated in the event represented disciplines that had not yet been represented in the university’s BAUHAUS4EU events so far. Their presence and active participation in the discussions paves the way for successful interdisciplinary collaboration within the Alliance’s future innovative teaching formats.
Overall, the second regional workshop emphasised the strong potential for a deepened collaboration between all stakeholders of the regional ecosystem. It marked another important step toward the development of a sustained BAUHAUS4EU Alliance, rooted in its regions.
