Advancing international teaching: Staff Week on European BAUHAUS courses

|   Events Calendar

At the end of the year, the BAUHAUS4EU (B4EU) University Alliance is organising another Staff Week in collaboration with the Bauhaus Summer School. Under the title ‘Summer schools as a tool for implementing European BAUHAUS courses,’ the workshop programme will focus on formats for international short-term programmes.

When: 8.12. - 12.12.2025
Where: Weimar (Germany)
Type: Workshop, Staff Week

From 8 to 12 December, around 30 staff members from all ten partner universities, as well as from the Ukrainian universities Kharkiv National University of Economics, Kharkiv School of Architecture and Lviv National Academy of Arts, will visit the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.

During the week, participants will develop course approaches that can be implemented in international short-term formats. The Bauhaus Summer School team is available to answer any questions: summerschool[at]uni-weimar.de.

What are European BAUHAUS courses?

The European BAUHAUS Courses aim to design a new, interdisciplinary course format. Their focus lies on internationalising cooperation and topics: on the one hand, the courses will not only be interdisciplinary, but will also link teaching staff from all partner universities at European level. On the other hand, the expertise of regional partners of the B4EU alliance from business, civil society, culture and politics will be incorporated into the course design. This will ensure that the course content is as broad as possible and can address practical challenges – both at regional and international level.
