How We Work - Governance & Structure
The Alliance consists of several governance bodies that are either responsible for its strategic development or operative implementation:
- On the strategic level, the Consortium Bodies set the long-term direction and objectives of the Alliance and represent the interests of all target groups. The Consortium Bodies consist of the Steering Committee, the President's Council, the Student Council, the PhD Council, the Administrative Council, the Academic Council as well as the Advisory Council and Regional Councils from each participating region (10 in total).
- On the operative level, the focus lies on the practical execution of the strategic plans. This work is carried out by specific project teams, the so-called Work Package and Task Groups, each with its own focus — ranging from communication and mobility development to sustainable campus initiatives.
The Steering Committee and the Management Team serve as the link between strategic decision-making and operational execution, ensuring that vision and practice remain closely aligned.
