A Widespread Campus Rooted in History and Open to the World

The University of Bergamo, located in the heart of Northen Italy, is a widespread campus inside the city, which can count on synergies with local institutions and the entrepreneurial system.

Founded in 1968 as “The Institute of Foreign Languages and Literature”, the University has reached up to 20,000 students and offers offers 19 Bachelor’s degree programs, 32 Master’s programs, 10 PhD and 17 double degrees.

The Campus of Economics and Law, Campus of Humanities and Campuses of Engineering share a view of a daily link with the city and its territory. The Humanities campus has been based in the monumental complex of the former Sant’Agostino monastery’s cloisters, just a few steps from the UNESCO Venetian walls of the upper city.
