University of Economics in Katowice (UEKat)

UEKat – your place, your space, your future

The University of Economics in Katowice is one of the oldest institutions in Upper Silesia. It is one of the five state economic universities in the country and the largest institution in the region, educating Polish and international students in the field of socio-economic sciences. Students have the opportunity to study across five faculties: Economics, Finance, Spatial Economy and Regions in Transition, Informatics and Communication, and Management.

With engaging and practical courses, the University ensures a high level of knowledge and competence for its students, utilizing modern tools and technologies. Continuous and responsible professional development of the faculty, along with infrastructure modernization to meet individual needs, are key priorities.

We are open to everyone, embracing new ideas, ambitious challenges, and promoting diversity and flexibility. Our goal is to expand knowledge and share achievements.

Our offer includes both full-time and part-time undergraduate and graduate programs, Doctoral School, postgraduate studies, and the opportunity to earn an MBA. There are over twenty study programs covering various fields. A new didactic policy, based on four attributes of mature education — scientific, practical, modernization, and internationalization — has been implemented for the benefit of students. In addition to the standard curriculum, the university organizes various student activities and scientific circles.
